During the 2004-2005 the Ida Elementary PTA voted on and committed to building a pavilion on the grounds of the Elementary School. As you can see by the picture to the left, the site has been picked and the plan continues to move ahead. In order to raise the funds necessary for the project, the PTA will be selling bricks in advance that will become a sidewalk adjacent to the pavilion.

The building will be modeled after the pavilion at the Prince of Peace church located just north of Ida on Lewis Avenue. It will measure approximately 32' x 50' with the back 18' enclosed. The remaining 32' x 32' section will be open and perfect for classroom and playground activities as well as a venue for picnics. Click on any picture below to enlarge.
